All jams are cooked in a copper cauldron by the nuns of the Abbey of Jouques
The abbey is located high on a plateau overlooking the Durance Valley, about twenty kilometers from Aix-en-Provence. Under the Provencal sun, the fruits of the orchard (apricot, plum, almond), grapes, olives and lavender, like all their plantations, are grown organically.
