A garnet color with purple reflections adorns this cuvée. The first nose is on prune, cherry, fig and leather.
The warm, rich and greedy attack quickly switches to a freshness balanced by an opulent tannic structure, whose generosity is matched only by finesse. The persistence of this aromatic is surprising; oriented on small black fruits and sour cherry with kirsch.
The highlight is a generous, round and smooth finish.

Primeurs 2017
The year 2017 was marked by a very dry spring and summer. The good weather conditions allowed a good course of flowering, fruit setting. The scorching temperatures from the month of June induced a reduction in sanitary pressure, the deep clay soils of Saint Honorat Island made it possible to spend the scorching summer without major symptoms of water stress. The maturity was early, the harvest relatively early but thanks to a sorting meticulous pickers, the harvest although small gave powerful and rich wines in the cellar.
